Connect's newly designed widget "homepage" has been created in order to provide shoppers with a far superior customer experience on your website, encouraging them to interact further with your dealership and ultimately convert. The better their experience on your site, the more likely they are to leave their details and subsequently visit your store.

Improved "Visit Our Store" Page
To make it even easier for shoppers to find your location, hours, and telephone number, Connect now houses a dedicated page for all of your details.
"Text Us" Feature
In what was previously only available to Connect Chat clients, all dealerships can now offer their shoppers the ability to easily send them a text message from Connect. Clicking on the Text button will open a lead form from which they can send you a text message. You can also set up SMS notifications when a shopper sends you a text message. Chat is an integral part of Connect's new design, as more and more shoppers are turning to chat for quick answers to their questions. Connect Chat is best-suited to function inside of Connect, and provides shoppers with the best experience both in terms of design as well as functionality.
If you are using Connect Chat, clicking on the chat bar will open chat regularly.
If you are using a third party chat integration, clicking on the chat bar will trigger your other chat to open. However, clicking Text will continue to open Connect.
If you are not using any Chat inside of Connect, clicking on the chat bar will simply open the Text lead form.
How to activate the Newly Designed Connect Widget
Activating the new design is simple:
- Login to the Connect dashboard
- Settings> General
- Toggle on "Activate Newly Designed Widget"
