AutoLeadStar has a simple way for you to manage user permissions across the AutoLeadStar platform that is on par with industry standards. The platform is broken down to three different levels:
- Group - At the group level, you can make changes that affect your group as a whole.
- Dealership - In the dealership level, the changes you make will only affect the dealership selected in the drop-down and not any others.
- Product - The product level relates to any settings only for the product selected in the top drop-down.
At each level, depending on the level of user permissions, there are different settings that can be changed.
There are two levels of permissions available
Edit - Has the ability to edit settings at this level
Admin - Has the ability to edit settings and allow or remove access for other users at this level
By clicking on the "User Management" section at any level, will open up the User Management settings for that specific level. If you choose it at the Dealership or Product levels, it is referring to the settings for that specific Dealership or Product, and will not affect any other Dealerships or Products.
In this section, you can see the users that have access, either Edit or Admin, at this level. You may notice a user with "Partial Permissions". This means that they do not have permissions at this level, but they do have permissions at a lower level.
In order to add a new user, click on " + Add team member" button in the top right. This will prompt open the add new member window.
After filling out this information, a second form will pop up for you to complete.
To edit a user, click on the 3 dots at the end of the row of the user who you wish to edit
In the window that pops open, use the Permissions drop-down to choose the new permission you wish to assign the user.
