Do you filter data?
Yes, we only take data for following up types:
- Phone Up
- Fresh Up
In addition, everything marked as ‘Factory Order’ in DealerSocket is filtered as well.
How do you handle duplicate leads?
If a customer submits multiple leads on a given day, only one lead is recorded in our system in order to prevent duplicates. Leads submitted on different days by the same customer are not counted as multiple leads.
What is the date of the lead?
We account leads for the same calendar date as they come in, even if the lead came in after business hours. Example: a lead which came it on January 5th at 11:58 pm will be counted for January 5th, one which came in on January 6th at 12:02 am will be counted for January 6th.
Why do I see different numbers in DealerSocket as in Pulse?
There are multiple reasons why your data in DealerSocket might not appear the same way as it does in Pulse:
- Duplicates (see How do you handle duplicate leads?)
- Filtering (see Do you filter data?)
- Pulse only syncs data for the previous 30 days
- If you make changes to leads from the last 30 days in DealerSocket, this will be reflected in Pulse after the daily sync. However, if the lead came in more than 30 days ago, the original data will remain in the system.
