As part of the Dealership Services page in the dashboard, you are able to connect to OEM offered payment deferral offers. These services can be found in the Finance & Insurance section of the Dealership Services page.
In this section, you will see a switch for Deferral Payments Services option for each OEM that has been set up for the account. Turning on the switch will open the offer, and display the amount of days the payments can be deferred, and the fine print of the offer. This text is not editable and is constantly updated with updated information from the relevant OEM.
However, if you wish to create your own custom deferrals, you can do so by turning on the Custom Deferral Payments switch. This will allow you to create 1 customized deferral payment offer.
What happens when I turn on these services?
When the switches are turned on, Acquire will generate and run multiple ad templates for the respective offers. These will only be generated once the switch has initially been turned on. If the switch is turned off, the relevant ad templates will be paused. These templates can be found by searching "deferral".
If a customer has Connect implemented, then once the relevant ad has been clicked on, the customer will be presented with a Connect notification displaying the fine print. If you do not have Connect implemented in your system, then when turning on the feature, you will be given a warning that the fine print will not appear, however, it will still be possible to turn on this feature.
These deferral payments will also be features inside of the Services Banner/ Landing Page.
