In Test Drive Plus, when a shopper selects a specific employee with whom they'd like to take the test drive, that information is, of course, sent to you in the comments section of the ADF. Now, in addition to this, an email can be sent to the employee him/ herself.
This is done in order to shorten the time it takes for your dealership to follow up with leads, and to improve your BDC’s ability to handle the leads coming in. Lead follow-up time and the streamlining of processes are increasingly more important, and AutoLeadStar is here to help in whatever way we can.
If Test Drive Plus is enabled, and employees are uploaded into the Employees page in your settings, users will be prompted to select an employee with whom they’d like to take a test drive.
A follow-up email can then be sent to that specific employee, with all of the details of the test drive, including a link to the lead's Lead Page in Connect. Additional people, like the Team Manager, can also receive a copy of every notification email, to jump in to handle leads even faster.
If no email address was provided for that employee, no email will be sent.
To turn on this feature, go to Settings > Connect > Modules > Test Drive Plus, and check off the appropriate box.
