Summary
Inventory Management enables you to align your Dealership business needs with the optimizations which Acquire leverages to target ads and get you more leads. Specifically, Inventory Management allows you to boost and/ or exclude certain inventory so that you can be sure to have more funds and focus put toward the vehicles that your dealership needs to move.
Inventory Management also makes available the opportunity to view Ad performance data from an inventory level, providing a transparent view of exactly where and how your budget is being spent.
How does it work?
The Inventory Management feature works by creating rules based on any combination of vehicle condition, year, make, model, trim and price. Once these rules are set up and saved, the Acquire algorithm will take these inputs and allocate budget accordingly, increasing budget toward or Boosting the relevant vehicles. The amount of budget increased - the Boost factor - is controlled by the AI algorithm.
Additionally, the feature is dynamic so as soon as a vehicle is added to your website, or removed from your website, the relevant rules and boosting will be automatically applied.
It should be noted however, that when a vehicle or vehicles are boosted, the vehicles that match these specific rules will get more leads. However, it may come at the cost of a slightly lower overall lead haul. Meaning, Boost is your Dealership saying - I want to prioritize these vehicles and allocate more budget to them, and I am willing to "pay the price" of a lower overall lead count because the boosted vehicle leads are worth more to me.
What happens when something is Boosted?
When you create rules to Boost inventory, the AI Algorithm shifts more budget to those vehicles so that the ads receive more impressions, clicks, and ultimately leads on site.
It is important to note that Acquire is constantly optimizing at a system level for better ROI and more leads. If after running a Boost the system sees you are not getting sufficient ROI, the Boost factored will automatically be lowered until results show otherwise. This way, you aren't restricting potential optimization by withholding funds from other objectives and campaigns.
Where can I see this in my Dashboard?
You may find the Inventory Management feature nested inside the Acquire solution under the Inventory tab, which is subdivided into Rules and Reports. It should be noted that this tab contains a list of inventory for which Acquire has created and deployed Ads. This does not always include every single vehicle in the dealership's inventory, rather the ones that Acquire has chosen to promote.
- The Rules tab is where you set up the rules to Boost or exclude inventory.
- The Reports tab is where you may easily view your inventory performance and monitor vehicle level stats.
