Question: The client’s Google Optimization Score has gone down recently - is this connected to AutoLeadStar and how Acquired is managing the Ads account?
Answer: No. Optimization Score is a tool that Google built to encourage people to optimize settings in their accounts (poor performing keywords, lack of extensions, no dynamic ads, etc). Getting a high optimization score simply means you’ve checked off a number of recommended account settings. A high score has no relationship to how your ads account is performing or driving business, and many marketers deliberately avoid lots of the recommendations because they're simply wrong for their business context (actually dismissing a recommendation as not relevant by pressing the dismiss button can also raise your score, because even Google realized this tool is super general).
