Dealer Offers
Dealer Offers are a data source from which the AutoLeadStar platform may receive Dealership inputs in order to create onsite offers (Connect) Ads (Acquire) and Email engagement (Nurture) which reflect the specials offered at the Dealership. Dealer offers automatically pulls offers and incentives from the dealership website to be leveraged across the AutoLeadStar products and provide up-to-date and relevant Dealer incentives to shoppers across the customer journey.
We also offer a built-in feature called Dealership Offers which allows you to fill in and upload CSVs manually each month. Ask your CSM to learn more about how your Dealership can upload your own offers each month.
Dealer Offers In Connect:
Connect will shows incentives from the dealership to visitors based on their browsing behavior. For example, a visitor who has shown an interest in the Chevy Cruz will likely be targeted with an offer for that vehicle. There are sometimes situations where there are no currently live offers. In this case, clicking on the Offers module in the widget will take the visitor to the dealership’s Specials page, which they can set up in the Connect dashboard.
Dealer Offers In Acquire:
Acquire will create relevant Ad ads based on your available dealership incentives. The feature integrates seamlessly, so if you have both OEM offers and dealership offers, the system will know how to compare them and advertise the better offer type. The better offer is based on offer terms, not performance (although we expect a correlation) , for example a lower lease payment or a shorter finance term, etc.
It is also important to note that when pulling Dealer Offers into account, Acquire only supports Lease/Finance/Cash/Off MSRP Offers, not “Custom”.
Where can I find the Dealer Offers feature?
Dealer Offers sit inside Data> Data Sources > scroll down to Dealership Offers
Dealership Offers as a general label for the entire data source of offers which we acquire from your own dealership, can include those pulled automatically from your website and those uploaded manually with a CSV. The column called Source will notate on the page from where each offer is sourced (website = dealer offers, CSV = dealership offers).
How can I exclude an offer from appearing on the New Specials page in Ignite, or exclude an offer from being featured in the New Offers of Connect (typically a question we hear when offers include Used or CPO inventory)?
Once offers are in your account, you may chose to exclude them from appearing in the New Specials page in Ignite or within the New Specials offers inside Connect. To do this, first select the offer(s) from the list by clicking the checkbox to the left, a drop down list of action will appear. One action is called "Remove from Specials". Also important to note, on the far right side of the row of each special listed, is a star which can be clicked or unclicked. This star indicated if the special should be featured or listed within the default order and arrangement (by year, make, model).
It is important to note, just because you have an offer listed on your website, does not mean that Acquire will always show the ads created using that offer data. Acquire will show the ads most likely to convert and get you more leads, which means if another offer for the same model has better terms, that offer will likely be optimized over the one with less favorable terms.
