Summary
The Pre-Order Inventory feature allows AutoLeadStar to promote vehicle models that have not yet been released, but are available for pre-order. The Pre-Order Inventory feature is a platform level feature which enables Acquire to create advertising and Connect to offer engagements and retargeting around these vehicles.

Adding Vehicles to Your Pre-Order Inventory
In order to add Pre-Order vehicles to the AutoLeadStar platform, enter your AutoLeadStar Dashboard > Data Sources > Pre-Order Inventory .
1) To add a new vehicle, click on the ADD NEW button in the upper right hand corner or click on the open tile which reads ADD NEW.
2) A form will open prompting you to add the following vehicle details: Year, Make, Model, Image upload, Landing Page, Expiration date.
** should no image be added or the image added does not work, the fallback image will be pulled from the AutoLeadStar repository
** if the vehicle you would like to add is NOT LISTED in the dropdown menu, please email support@autoleadstar.com with the relevant vehicle information (year, make, model) as well as the landing page on your site for this vehicle and an image (if you have) and we will make sure it is added to the account within 48 hours.
3) Click ADD VEHICLE button inside the form to save and submit the vehicle.
What Happens When Pre-Order Inventory Is Added
When pre-order vehicles are added into the AutoLeadStar platform, a new objective inside Acquire is opened which contains bundles of ads and keywords related to the pre-order inventory. This objective will be automatically turned ON for all active Acquire channels and may only be paused from within the Pre-Order Inventory Data source.
Additionally, a new Connect module called Pre-Order Inventory will be activated which includes a lead capture form that triggers on the Pre-Order vehicle landing page. This module will appear for those coming to this landing page from ALL traffic sources including Acquire. Connect will also retarget onsite shoppers who have been to the Pre-Order landing page with an engagement to convert on that vehicle.
Enabling/ Disabling the Pre-Order Inventory Feature
This feature is OFF by default and may be activated in one of two ways:
- 1. Enabling the feature by turning the switch ON
- 2. Adding inventory to the Pre-Order Inventory List
This feature may be deactivated by turning it OFF in the Data Source > Inventory. Turning this OFF will pause the entire objective inside Acquire as well as remove the Pre-Order landing page module for onsite lead capture via Connect.
Please note: disabling the feature turns off BOTH the Acquire objective AND the Connect module, they cannot be separated.
